Contradictions of Christian Theology:
Are there contradictions in all translations of the Holy Bible?
Yes.
How did contradictions emerge; and why?
Contradictions in the Bible were produced from translations and theologies of men, not God. This was achieved by deliberately adding and/or changing words and their meanings, through mistranslations.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add to the word which I command you, and ye shall not take from it: keep the commandments of the Lord our God, all that I command you this day.
Nobody can corrupt the Scriptures with Christian theology, without producing contradictions, inaccuracies, additions, and errors.
Note: Other religions have distorted the Scriptures also, but contradictions from Christian theology is the subject matter.
Men that corrupt the Scriptures are not seeking the truth, but are trying to influence and/or persuade others into following their ‘choice’ of theology.
Note: Corrupting the Scriptures is not just by ‘rewording’ the Bible, but is also by teachings and doctrines that are ‘claimed to be Biblical’, but are not.
Why would God allow His Word to be corrupted?
God does not ‘allow’ His Word to be corrupted. The Scriptures were not written for God, but for men. Men must take responsibility for changes to the Scriptures, [not God] because the Scriptures were given to men ‘pure’ [without errors] and by God’s inspiration.
Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD {are} pure words: {as} silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture {is} given by inspiration of God, and {is} profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Is God and His Word still obtainable?
Deuteronomy 4:29 And there ye shall seek the Lord your God, and ye shall find him whenever ye shall seek him with all your heart, and with all your soul in your affliction.
Proverbs 8:17 I love those that love me; and they that seek me shall find.
Jeremiah 29:12 And do ye pray to me, and I will hearken to you: and do ye earnestly seek me, and ye shall find me;
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you:
Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he is not far from every one of us:
How is God’s Word revealed?
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.
Philippians 3:14 I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. :15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye are otherwise minded, God will reveal even this to you.
How can one determine what is God’s Word?
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, to do all the words of this law.
Proverbs 1:23 “Turn to my reproof, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
Note: The only way anyone can know God’s Word, is when it is revealed by God through the teaching of the Holy Spirit, [with absolutely no aid from religious theology].
What is Biblical inerrancy?
There are at least two (opposing) explanations of inerrancy of the Holy Bible.
One:
The ‘original texts’ of the Scriptures were accurate, and without any errors in their ‘original form’.
Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times.
Note: With the meddling of men and their religious theologies, the Scriptures became infected with theological beliefs, and are no longer pure [originally accurate]. Mistranslations and inserted words are not ‘God’s Words’.
Two:
Biblical inerrancy is used as a theological term to describe the belief that the Bible [as it is presented today] is free from errors and contradictions.
Note: Contradictions are usually viewed as ‘one’s misunderstanding’ of the Scripture, or an ‘incorrect’ version of the Bible.
The inerrancy theological position is especially directed to issues of Christian faiths, doctrines, and religious practices. This theological position is described as: word perfect, with no errors or contradictions, is scientifically sound, and that the Holy Bible is infallible.
If so, which version?
Note: The incentive for this Bible study was made when a pastor claimed that the KJV was “word perfect”.
Quote: “God has preserved in the Authorized King James Bible an absolute Word of truth. God Himself supplied every word to make a perfect text, a perfect Word of God in the English language. No word can be found in the Authorized King James Bible that should not be there. The King James Bible represents God’s perfection in Bible translation. Every critic of this great Bible will be silenced when discovery is made into the background of this word perfect Bible”.
In reference to the translators of the KJV:
Quote: “These men were used of God to bring forth a word perfect Bible, the veritable Word of God, just as true, anointed, and fresh from heaven as if God Himself had set at the translation table. Indeed, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, God did translate the Authorized King James Bible.”
Note: This nonsense is sacrilege. 1. There is no such thing as a word perfect Bible in any translation. 2. The Holy Spirit is not a person. 3. God did not translate the KJV [or any Bible].
All translations have problems; why single out the KJV?
It is true that all translations have problems. The KJV (just as with other translations) is not an exclusively invalid translation.
Note: At this time, I have not discovered any statements [like the previous] made by anyone that are directed to any other translation of the Bible.
Those that are dogmatic regarding the KJV Bible ‘only’ make it the ‘singled out’ central point at this time.
It is okay if the KJV ‘only’ is ones choice.
Many choose this Bible over all others. But, any contradictions, additions, fallibilities, conflicts and errors are also KJV only.
Examples:
KJV Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
KJV Acts 24:7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
KJV Acts 28:29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.
Note: All three of the previous KJV verses are not in any manuscript of the Bible.
Did those on the road with Saul hear a voice?
KJV Acts 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
KJV Acts 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
Note: The contradiction is not Biblical, but a poor translation of Greek; “hearing a voice no man but seeing”. They heard the voice [of Paul] but did not see anyone. Only Paul heard the voice of Christ.
How did King Saul die?
KJV 1 Samuel 31:4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. :5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him. :6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.
Note: Saul fell upon his sword and he died.
KJV 2 Samuel 1:2 It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. :3 And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped. :4 And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. :5 And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead? :6 And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. :7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I. :8 And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. :9 He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. :10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
Note: Was the Amalekite lying, thinking he would find favor from David?
[If so, then this is not a contradiction, but a lying Amalekite.]
Does Paul contradict himself?
KJV Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
KJV Galatians 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
Note: In verse :2 burdens means hardships; weight. Burdens in verse :5 means a load; cargo. Paul’s meanings are not contrary.
Does every man sin?
KJV 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Note: All people sin.
KJV 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Note: It does not mean that you don’t sin any more; it means that one does not practice sin. The NAS makes this more clear.
KJV 1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
NAS 1 John 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.
Is wisdom a blessing or sorrow?
KJV Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
KJV Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
LXX Proverbs 3:13 Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, and the mortal who knows prudence.
LXX Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in the abundance of wisdom is abundance of knowledge; and he that increases knowledge will increase sorrow.
Note: Read both verses in their context and observe the differences in the subject matter.
There is not a contradiction in Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.
Proverbs states that a man who has found wisdom and knows prudence [understanding] is blessed.
Ecclesiastes does not state understanding. An abundance of wisdom and knowledge [without understanding] is what leads to sorrow.

Note: The erroneous explanation that God created these divinities as good, but they sinned against God and then became evil is one of the most ridiculous statements made by Christianity. The doctrine of fallen angels and a fallen angel devil is not Biblical, so any explanations are all nonsense anyway.

Romans 8:26 And, in like manner also, the Spirit doth help our weaknesses; for, what we may pray for, as it behoveth {us}, we have not known, but the Spirit himself doth make intercession for us with groanings unutterable, :27 and He who is searching the hearts hath known what {is} the mind of the Spirit, because according to God he doth intercede for saints.
Romans 8:34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
